Weird that I have heard that song two times in the past couple of days. A blast from the past for sure!
And that is exactly what we have been doing today. The Girls decided I needed a total make-over. I didn't realize what a strain the past couple of years have been and what it has done to me as a person. You can kinda let yourself go when you have to deal with a true drama queen. I didn't realize that
But enough about him and his problems...
The Girls and I went out, I got my hair colored and cut, new makeup, manicure and pedicure, new clothes and even new undies.
At dinner, I guess we got a little carried away. The men at the table next to us ended up paying for our dinners. "We had so much fun just sitting next to you girls, listening in, it was the least we could do."
I feel like a new person, it's good to be back in the real world!

How great for you!!!
Hope all is going well, with all things considered....I wish all women had your strength...
Keep up the attitude, chick.....
Good for you Lisa! It seems as though you are extracting the seeds from this experience and maybe part of that means learning who you really are and what you want and like. Bravo! And now if you wave your finger - it will be gorgeously painted!
Hey - where was I when dinner was served?
I wish I had your strength to leave. Every time he hits me I swear I will leave for good, but I always come back because I have no where to go, no money of my own and my kids need a dad.
I should have left the first time it happened, but should have seen the controlling nature he has.
I pray to one day have your strength.
Sounds like a great time and you definitely deserved the pampering & "me time". LOL on them paying for dinner!
Yay! I love it when women succeed in having their stuff paid for just by being awesome!
And PS High maintenance men blow chunks. It's better to kick them out the door before they "need" your foot for something.
This post really made my day! Congrats Ms. Lisa, I hope you continue to stay strong and live your life to the fullest!
