It's official

Mr Twisted and I put up the Halloween decorations yesterday. He said the easiest way was to pull them all out onto the driveway and then organize them and drag them back in.

If I buy any more Halloween decorations, there will be one very realistic display of a crime scene. Kinda like "housewife murdered on front lawn?"

No Joke, moratorium has been enacted. No more, unless something else leaves....hmmm.

I fully understand. Halloween is such a cool decorating time, but I've been told that the new house rule is if something new enters, something old has to go.

see, that goes against my pack-rat collecting mentality.

As an Army Brat, I have grown up having to 'get rid' of stuff once a year for 'the move'.

I don't move anymore, so can't I just keep it ALL?

All of my Halloween decorations fit into one decently sized rubbermaid tub.

Now CHRISTMAS, on the other hand, whoa nelly. Just my snowman collection alone takes up tubs and tubs and shelves in the basement. And with the weather as cold and snowy as it's been here, those tubs and shelves are starting to call my name in earnest...........

Maybe you can buy the stuff sporatically throughout the year and sneak it into the tubs?

I'm such an enabler - LOL!

except for the fact that the tubs are packed!

People think that I will be like this at Christmas...

I have more Halloween decorations than Christmas decorations. Maybe I need to start sneaking Halloween into the GREEN tubs!

My wife needs that same ultimatum.

Is that a kid in the first one in the driveway, or that freaky little statue in the other pix....

That isn't Saw man is it?

If I ain't around to pass out candy, I don't put up deco. We don't head out every year though, so sometimes I get to buy a few more props for the collection.

I REALLY want a lifesize casket to hide in...

Nah, it's a stand up, and the other one is new.

Saw man? I don't watch scary movies, they freak me out...for real..lol
